Mercedes-Benz of Richmond in the VA Wine Expo 2024

The Virginia Wine Expo was held from February 22 to March 3, 2024, at the historic Main Street Station and different restaurants throughout Richmond. A striking EQS SUV was displayed at the entrance of Main Street Station before guests indulged in the craft beverage and food scene the event offered.

The VA Wine Expo’s full agenda included wine-pairing dinners at the best restaurants in the Greater Richmond Region. Mercedes-Benz of Richmond was also the presenting sponsor of “Signature Wine Dinner: A Taste of Italy at La Grotta Ristorante Hosted by Chef Antonio Capece & Barboursville Vineyards” at La Grotta on February 28th. Jason Tesauro and Luca Paschina of Barboursville Vineyards and the acclaimed Chef Antonio Capece took guests on a culinary tour of Tuscany, Piedmont, and Veneto at the dinner event. Each course was expertly paired with highly-regarded Barboursville Vineyard wines. The inviting and warm service, intimate environment, and captivating artistic presentations of the cuisine made this an elite dining experience that Italian food lovers simply could not miss!

These events aim to educate consumers and the trade about premium Virginia wine, spirits, and cider through diverse events, masterclasses, and tastings. This year’s “Regions of Emphasis” was Italy and Oregon.
